Ali is a style icon for the All-American ‘preppy bohemian’ look she has embraced since she rose to fame in the 70s. I was not surprised to learn that prior to acting, she worked as an assistant at Harper’s Bazaar and got style tips from Diana Vreeland.
What I love most about Ali is she survived her overnight success and Hollywood marriage and embraced her own path and life in Santa Fe. She still looks great on the red carpet in her signature style of white shirt with collar up or in classic black with bohemian earrings or clutch. She is a romantic bohemian who has succeeded by going her own way.
